The “Woolly Pully” sweater was originally developed during World War II for use by the S.A.S. and Bomber Command.
This heavy wool, rib knit crew neck sweater is hardwearing and functional. Complete with shoulder and elbow patches, velcro epaulettes and a pen pocket on one sleeve. Durable and hardwearing, this classic crew neck sweater retains its appearance and shape wash after wash.
We have manufactured the “Woolly Pully” for over 50 years to the exacting standards of the British M.O.D specification UK/SC/3712.

An outstanding military classic with a colourful new twist
I am an aficionado of the Woolly Pully. I bought my first, the Army version, as an eleven year old schoolboy back in Silver Jubilee year. It was swiftly followed by Royal Navy and RAF, and I have never looked back! I have been wearing WPs ever since … and I have quite a collection.
This Sky Blue WP with epps and pen holder is perfect. I love the colour, which I call ‘Ukraine Blue’, thinking of the Ukrainian flag ??. It also stands out, in a good way, and gives the iconic British sweater an interesting modern twist. Thank you OKW, for this and for so many WPs over the decades. Their style and quality is timeless and I love wearing them as much as I did back in the 1970s.
