Measuring points
- Chest across the front – This measurement would be under the arm all the way around.
- Length – Measured from the centre back of the collar join to the bottom of the welt (hem).
- Sleeve – Measured from the top of the arm at shoulder point to the bottom of the cuff.
- Turn Back cuff – Some styles of sweaters have a traditional turn back cuff which gives adjustment for shorter or longer sleeve lengths of 1-3cm.
- Shoulder to shoulder – Measured from the shoulder join to the sleeve across the front to the other shoulder point.

These sweaters follow the official MOD Specification for all aspects of manufacture.
This results in a sweater which gives a traditional ‘military’ snug/tight fit.
We would therefore recommend that you study the size chart carefully before choosing your required size and if you wish a looser fit order the next size up.
